Citoplasmas is an independent stop motion animation film company funded in 2008. It’s characteristic name comes from our first multi-awarded film Citoplasmas in acid medium.

The three “Citoplasmas” are Eduard Puertas, Irene Iborra and Adrian Iborra, all passionate about storytelling, innovation and all kind of animation. Our philosophy is to be adaptable and in our work we give importance to every last detail. Besides, we love to involve the viewers with our ‘making of’ clips.

Citoplasmas also conduct animation workshops, teaches in Stop Motion MA at BAU University and we have our own stop motion armatures brand: Kinetic Armatures.

 We are based in Barcelona, but work with people around the world…and beyond.
